AAON's SS1027 keypad controller is the on-site service interface for the VCM-X Modular E-BUS Controller family used on AAON VAV, constant-volume, and make-up air units. This 27-key membrane keypad provides data entry and navigation for configuring the VCM-X E-BUS system, and it includes a 4-line by 20-character display, a programmable 4 GB SD memory card, and power from four AA cells. Communications include RS-485 and E-BUS ports, and it uses an HSI Open Protocol Token Passing scheme to exchange configuration and status with the VCM-X Modular E-BUS controller. The tool is designed for operation in harsh environments (10°F to 149°F, 0-95% RH non-condensing) and is part of the AAON VCM-X ecosystem, compatible with expansion modules such as OE333-23-EM, OE358-2312R, and OE356-01-BI that expand the main controller's inputs/outputs.
