Charge or connect the pump power supply and confirm it primes. Seat the pad flat on clean, sound, non-porous material with no chips or seams under the seal. Draw vacuum and wait for the gauge to reach the safe zone before taking any load. Lift slowly and keep the load low; never stand or pass under a suspended load.
