Caladiums thrive in tropical locations and need temperatures consistently above 60 to sprout. It's best to start in pots indoors in colder climates and move outdoors once temperatures are warm enough. Although Aaron Caladium can tolerate a bit of sun, prevent leaf scorch by avoiding the hot, afternoon sun. Caladium do very well in containers where soil can be monitored. They prefer well-drained but evenly moist soil to thrive. Caladiums also do very well indoors as a houseplant over the Winter months in colder climates!
