There is something slightly eerie but incredibly magical about being on the ocean in thick fog. Visibility is out the window. The only noise you can hear is the water lapping on th e side of the boat. There are no landmarks or any indication to has far land is. You are fully reliant on maps. All colours are muted and its as if you are living in a black and white movie. You feel completely alone. The boat ramp car park tells a different tale. Trailer after trailer, all belonging to hopeful fishermen. This day was a unofficial long weekend for all the locals out to enjoy perfect boating conditions. Port Sorell, Tasmania, Australia.
