An attractive and very authentic antique 1920s rug by the Baharlu tribe of the Khamseh Confederacy of tribes in south west Persia. Terracotta stepsided field with a large pale blue central medallion; filled with angular floral motifs with flowerheads in the dark blue field and spandrels.
