Abbie's True Colours is an inspiring narrative non-fiction book about the true meaning of pride, based on 12-year-old Abbie Jane, who wanted to create positive change in her commun ity, in the face of bullying. You only see joyful and beautiful rainbows when you look up, so Abbie (now 15) started giving out free rainbow beads for shoelaces, so, like here, victims of bullying (who would often be looking down) could see the rainbows and know that they weren't alone.
