The FV433 Abbot self-propelled gun mounts a 105mm gun on a modified FV432 armoured personnel carrier chassis. Although its calibre is relatively small for a modern artillery piece, the 105mm gun fires a high-capacity shell that gives it an excellent performance. With its usual professionalism, the British Army had prepared for war. Now, as the Soviet Army flooded across the border into West Germany, it was ready and waiting. Step 2: Next, attach the track guards to the side of the hull. Step 3: The FV433 Abbot self-propelled gun come with an open or closed commander's hatch. The open hatch is used when you wish to add a commander figure. This is useful when you wish to distinguish the platoon commander's vehicle from the rest of the platoon.
