The Abebe Olive is our redesign of the original Abebe. These socks are exclusively introduced as part of our Summer 2019 release. This design gets its inspiration from the hand fan fabric motif. In Yoruba, the translation for hand fan is Abębę (pronounced Ah-beh-beh). Hand fans are mostly seen being held by brides during the Yoruba traditional wedding ceremony.
