Abelia grandiflora Radiance is a compact, semi-evergreen shrub that can add alot into the garden, with the foliage of the plant being formed with a cream margin surrounding the sta rk green base colour of each leaf. The plant will maintain its colour throughout the year, making it a great addition for year-round interest. From June onwards, the plant will begin to bloom, with white flowers being the main feature of this period. They will provide a slight fragrance to add another attractive trait to the shrub and, with planting taking place in moist, well-drained soil, the great features of the plant will thrive throughout. Place the plant in full sun to partial shade and water it regularly - once a week will be adequate, except during periods of warmer weather.
