Abies amabilis (Pacific Silver Fir)

Pacific Silver Fir, similar to Grand Fir, features needles that extend horizontally from both sides. However, it uniquely has shorter needles on the upper side that point forward a nd lay flat against the twig, creating a texture reminiscent of hair on a dog's tail.
