Introduced by the Buchholz Nursery in Gaston, Oregon, this upright conifer was named due to the interesting exfoliating bark, but the most decorative quality is the lovely velvety- purple cones produced along the branches. Originally from China and very rare. Prefes full sun in well-drained soil. 'Flaky' will grow to 8 ft tall and 4 ft wide in 10 years. Hardy to zone 5. Show more
