In the midst of the situation I had come across this verse that said “those who sew with tears will reap with songs of joy” Psalms 126:5. This scripture served as a reminder to me that my present may seem unpleasant, but it won’t last forever because God holds my future and it’s bright! Ultimately it became my inspiration for this piece. Now I am experiencing Joy with a new perspective and my hope is that this painting brings a form of comfort to those who behold it.
