Art prints from the original acrylic inks on paper c. 2010. This is the view from the third floor of the Franklin Hotel, downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland - the top of Water Street (Above Water - get it?) and the back of Duckworth Street. You can see the courthouse to the very right. Even though I wouldn’t consider this the prettiest view of downtown, I fell in love with it and had to paint it. This is one of my first paintings where I decided to leave the sky pure unpainted paper. Many more without skies have followed since. Show more
