ABRITES - EP003 BOSCH MD/MG ECU Manager Software Allows reading of the latest generation Bosch MD/MG ECUs on bench. List of supported ECUs: Real Read: Allows full reading of the current memory of the ECU Displays all modifications of the ECU Extracts security data of the ECU (e.g., BMW ISN, VAG CS) Virtual Read: Only gives original file for the ECU from a database All modifications of the ECU are LOST Security data of the ECU CANNOT be extracted N.B. Please note that you will require an AVDI interface with an active AMS and active software EP001 in order to use this special function. ECU READING BY DIAGNOSTICS Complete reading and writing of ECUs by OBDII. This includes real and virtual reading of ProgramFlash, DataFlash, MAP Tables and BootLoader. This process does not require any dismantling of parts from the vehicle and makes the life of the user easy, especially in cases when the ECU is difficult to access. ECU READING ON BENCH In cases when the ECU is already out of the vehicle, this method allows the user to connect directly to the ECU connector without having to open the ECU or solder any wires. This is done using the ZN051 Distribution Box and user-friendly diagrams are provided for all supported ECU types. ECU READING BY BOOT MODE In very rare cases, some ECUs cannot be read by diagnostics or on bench. In those cases, the ABRITES ECU Programming tool also supports reading by boot mode. User-friendly diagrams/photos are provided so that the user can easily figure out the correct spot where to solder the boot pin. The software supports all ECUs with TC17xx processors.
