Force Ignition On tool for VAG VehiclesThe VAG Force Tool is useful in all keys lost situations on VAG vehicles that have an ESL and do not use a mechanical transponder key cylinder.With the VAG Force Tool, it is possible to force the ignition on (Terminal 15) in VAG vehicles via the OBD (onboard diagnostic) port. This will allow you to wake up the control units in the vehicle and establish OBD communication without having a key.It is fitted with a male and female OBD port on each end. This allows you to plug the VAG Force Tool into the vehicle OBD port and also plug your Diagnostic / Key Programmer into the other end creating a PASSTHRU connection. Use the toggle switch to simulate turning the vehicle on and off.
