'Absolute Bliss' is named after Mansfield’s short story 'Bliss'. It is an explosion of movement and colour, reflective of private, internal experiences erupting to the surface. These new landscape works invite the viewer to pause and find solace in places that feel familiar, though not entirely recognisable. Through layered colour and soft transitions, these paintings evoke atmosphere as much as place, guiding the eye toward light on the horizon and awakening a quiet curiosity about what lies just beyond the path.
