These glasses have been made from from one original 70cl Absolut vodka bottle. Split bottle glasses, as we call them. These glasses make perfect gifts for people who love vodka, li ke something a little bit unusual or are environmentally conscious. In fact, these are are glasses a vodka lover would like for any occasion. This style of glass is popular as a gift for a couple, for example as an anniversary gift or a new home present. After studying glass making at university, I have been working professionally with recycled glass for over 20 years, selling my work at Covent Garden and Spittalfields craft markets in London. Over that time I have worked hard to design my tools and techniques to ensure the glasses have a very smooth, rounded rim. The packaging we use is 100% recyclable and we encourage you to recycle/reuse it afterwards.The majority of the bottles I use come from bars and restaurants in London, plus a few friends who leave their empty bottles on the doorstep of my East London workshop!
