Semi-abstract oil painting on canvas inspired by a cloudy beachscape. The soft dramatic sky was blended with brushes and a palette knife, adding texture and definition to the beach in the foreground. Artwork size: 61 x 61 x 4 cm -- Semi-abstract oil painting on canvas inspired by a cloudy beachscape. Layers were built up to create a sense of depth to this seascape, allowing colours to break through in the sky and reflections on the beach. I then used a palette knife for definition throughout the centre of the painting. This painting will be wrapped in acid-free tissue paper, then bubble wrapped and placed in a cardboard box. Show more
