After working for Issey Miyake Planning co. she received her MA at Royal College of Art, returned to Japan in 2006 and established KAJIHARA DESIGN STUDIO based in Sapporo and Tokyo. Through material development, product planning and branding that incorporate new sensibilities into traditional Japanese techniques, the company proposes the rich possibilities of textiles in daily life.
