Connect Third-Party Devices to Your AC Infinity Controller Not everything in your tent runs on AC Infinity's own UIS connector, and that's fine. These device adaptors let you wire third-party fans, lights and other equipment into a UIS controller so they can be programmed and automated alongside your AC Infinity gear. Type A suits devices that respond to a 0-10V or PWM signal, common on many modern EC-motor fans and dimmable lights. Type B is built for resistive-load devices, the more traditional analogue control method used by older or simpler equipment. Type A – for devices using 0-10V or PWM control signals Type B – for resistive-load devices RJ11/12 connector, compatible with AC Infinity's UIS controllers Lets third-party equipment join your existing automation setup Not sure which type you need? Check your device's manual for its control signal type. Modern EC-motor or 0-10V dimmable equipment needs Type A; simpler resistive-control devices need Type B. If in doubt, most household and basic ventilation kit will use Type B.
