It operates on the Wiegand 125kHz 26-bit EM-RFID format, making it compatible with our PC access control systems and any other system that uses EM-RFID proximity cards or key fobs. This is not a standalone unit and cannot be used for other applications. How do I know what format my system uses (Wiegand, Mifare, etc.)? Wiegand systems typically use the 125kHz frequency with EM/HID cards and fobs. In contrast, Mifare systems use a 13.56MHz frequency. Your system's manual or supplier can confirm the exact format.
