Acacia baileyana, or Cootamundra Wattle, is an iconic Aussie native. It is easily identified by its feathery blue-grey foliage as well as the iconic golden pom pom flowers. The tre e produces profuse sprays of these small globular flowers in late winter to early spring providing a striking contrast against the backdrop of the soft silver-blue foliage. This species can be used as a beautiful feature tree, paddock tree, roadside tree and is great for erosion control. They are ideal as cut flower and as bird nesting habitats.
