Pink Acacia (black locust or faux acacia) differs from the unrelated cassie and mimosa (members of the true acacia family) in that it has an intense note of orange blossom mixed with hawthorne. It is a very elegant floral note seldom seen in modern perfumes which is a shame as it has such a universally appreciated scent. Pink Acacia conveys the scent of warm summer breeze; it creates a sense of happy nostalgia. It is perfectly suited as the main floral heart of a contemporary fragrance.
