Due to the detailed display and hardware, the scales have the ability to show recipes and prompt the user through steps. On the original, this ability is accessed through long pressing the tare button. On the 2022 version, Brewguide is now a mode that can be toggled through like other modes. Flowrate Practise Mode: This mode is exclusive to the original Pearl Model S. Countdown Timer Mode: This mode is exclusive to the Pearl Model S 2022. The mode is a customizable timer that can be personalized with 3 adjustable presets and over 30 melodious tones. Weight and time notification in sound or voice: The sound and voice feature is exclusive to the Pearl Model S 2022. Designed for those who need auditory assistance or would like to hear notifications. This feature can be turned off. The time notification interval is 10 seconds and the weight interval is 20 g. Melody: On the Pearl S 2022, we've included a hidden secret mode. When you press and hold the Power and Tare button for 5 seconds, the 30+ ringtone music created will play consecutively in the background.
