With it, you can easily measure the resonance frequency of each axis and recalibrate your Input Shaper to the optimal values, ensuring your modded 3D printer operates with maximum efficiency. Prusa Research printers come from the factory with pre-configured, optimized Input Shaper values that have been collected and fine-tuned across many of their machines. Therefore, with a standard stock printer, you won’t ever need additional tuning, as any potential improvement after recalibration would be rather insignificant. However, some modifications, such as a mod on the Nextruder, can impact the printer’s construction to the extent that the original Input Shaper values are no longer valid.
