This lightweight aircraft grade release is made of stainless steel, and has a 1/16" offset. When installed properly the top surface of the panel latch is flush with the top of the panel. This spring loaded latch assembly requires no special tools to operate. It is easily released with one finger and is very simple to reset also. The unique design of this special aircraft latch also provides a positive lock when it is loaded.
