"RGB" files are best for websites and social media, items that will only be viewed on a digital screen. They are not suitable for printed items such as leaflets. "CMYK" files are designed for use in a printed item such as a leaflet or price list. They will also work on a website or digital image. "JPEG" files are traditional photo files and will always have a white background. "PNG" files are an alternative form of photo file which has a clear background. "EPS" files are for use in professional design programmes such as Photoshop. These are for use by a professional designer.
