The Accuris™ E4500-LD (part of the SmartGlow™ line) is a fluorescent reagent used in molecular biology for the visualization of DNA and RNA during gel electrophoresis. It is primarily used as a safer, non-toxic alternative to Ethidium Bromide (EtBr), which is a known mutagen Features: Sample Visualization: It contains a green fluorescent stain that binds to nucleic acids (dsDNA, ssDNA, and RNA). 6X Loading Dye: Because it is a loading dye, it is mixed directly with your samples before they are placed in the gel. It contains tracking dyes that allow you to monitor the progress of the electrophoresis run.
