In 1995, the duo Acda en de Munnik began a run of hugely successful albums and sold-out theatre tours. Their self-titled album was released in 1997, featuring well-known hits such as "Als Het Vuur Gedoofd Is", "Lopen Tot De Zon Komt", "Vondelpark Vannacht", and the now-famous cover of the Jacques Brel song "De Stad Amsterdam". Their second album, Naar Huis, followed, featuring their biggest hit, "Niet Of Nooit Geweest". Alongside this monster hit, the album includes a wealth of well-known and much-loved songs, including the John Lennon-inspired "Laat Me Slapen", as well as "De Kapitein" and "Het Regent Zonnestralen". Signature Acda en de Munnik songs such as "Ren Lenny Ren" and "Verkeerd Verbonden" are also included. Adem – Het Beste Van Acda en de Munnik is available as a limited edition on transparent blue vinyl.
