The decorative zigzag-shaped trim, known as rickrack, was widely used during the 1930s and 1940s to embellish clothing, crafts, and home decor. Salvaged authentic vintage patches and pennants, carefully collected from across the U.S., adorn the jacket, while the rickrack was sourced from a basement cookbook store in the East Village of NYC.
