Acer Shaina is a vibrantly-coloured, japanese maple with upright branches covered in bright red leaves in spring, and dark maroon-red foliage in summer. This is a dense and compact cultivar, reaching around 3m in height with a nice globe shape. When grafted as a standard, it makes a colourful and elegant showpiece in the garden, courtyard or patio pot. It is necessary to lightly prune to keep the topiary form.
