Moonshine Yarrow is a popular perennial plant that is known for its feathery silvery green foliage and bright, sunny yellow flowers in summer. An excellent cut flower that retains color when dried. Heat and drought tolerant. Prefers full sun and well-drained soils. Type: Perennial Origins: Eurasia Height: 1' - 2' Spread: 0.5' - 1' Spacing: 1' USDA Hardiness Zone: 3 - 8 Culture: Full Sun Bloom Color: Yellow Season of Interest: Summer MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Stems tend to flop if grown in rich, moist soils. Taller stems may need staking if grown in light shade. Can cut back in spring before bloom to reduce height, or after to encourage additional bloom. Stem rot, rust, and powdery mildew can be an occasional issue.
