Giorgio Armani is an Italian fashion designer, who formed his own company in 1975. The same year he presented his first collection of men’s ready-to-wear as well as a women’s line for the same season. The brand successfully expanded over the years offering a variety of products – from accessories to beauty products and fragrances, gradually winning recognition as a byword for luxury and class. In the early 1980s the company signed a contract with L'Oreal and released Armani for women in 1982, followed by Armani for men in 1984, both adding a scented signature to the brand.
