Acrocanthosaurus Forelimb Claw CastThe Acrocanthosaurus is a therapod that lived in the Early Cretaceous Period, appx. 15 million years ago. The name means, "High Spine Lizard." Th e Acrocanthosaurus has seventeen inch spikes from its neck to its tail. It was over 40 feet long, and weighed up to 6 tons! Its head alone was around 4.4 fwwt in length.
