The Acromion Dislocation Sling is a high-spec shoulder orthosis designed to treat acromioclavicular (AC) and clavicle dislocations. It incorporates a patented tension system that a pplies targeted downward pressure on the clavicle and upward pressure on the shoulder, promoting natural anatomical realignment of the acromion-clavicle joint. Engineered for comfort and compliance, this brace features an anatomical, flexible clavicular structure with pivot joints and polyethylene foam padding to ensure a snug yet adaptable fit. The adjustable elbow pocket includes semi-rigid polyethylene foam that cushions and stabilises the forearm without sacrificing structure. A standout feature is the contralateral strap with orange buckle, which can be quickly fastened or removed via an intuitive hook closure system—ideal for clinical and home use. Rear straps offer pre-set uniform tension, while the abdominal strap with clip buckle delivers stabilising support around the torso and can be adjusted easily via Velcro®.
