This amazing little shawl can be hand knit by you! The silk yarn I used was very suitable for these patterns of shells, sea and sand. Glass beads on the shells are mimicing water droplets. The shawl will not take that much time to knit, it will make a perfect Christmas gift or an eye catcher on a wonderful evening... The shell patterns around the edging are amazing and really attractive. Not as difficult as you might think. The pattern has charts, rows are NOT written out. It has 6 pages. Size of the shawl in silk: 120cm wide and 50cm deep (center). In other yarn it can run up to 150 cm wide or more (this will ask for more yarn too). You'll need - approx. 340m of pure silk (like Kaalund Enchanté) - ~125 beads, Crystal beads 8/0 no 250 japanese glass sead beads- knitting needles 3,0mm or US 2 1/2 (bottom up pattern) - T-pins for blocking
