A rural landscape arranged in clear, balanced planes of colour. A small farmhouse sits quietly within open fields, with telegraph poles and low hills stretching across the horizon beneath a soft, shifting sky. Olsson works with a restrained palette of greens, warm ochres and cool blue-greys, allowing light to move gently across the fields and stone in the foreground. The forms are simplified but assured, giving the composition clarity and calm. Signed, lower right, by artist Axel Olsson (Sweden, 1919-2001) and dated 1952.
