(Doll’s Eyes, White Baneberry) Woodland perennial from eastern North America; 18-30” tall clumping out to 2-3’ wide; clumps of Astilbe-like foliage, spikes of small white flowers i n spring followed by clusters of contrasty white berries on red stems, each with a single purple spot (TOXIC!).
