Manually pushing beyond the D.P.S.I. recommendation — particularly during sinus floor osteotomy — increases perforation risk and thermal load. 2 Follow the correct tip sequence for each procedure. For extractions, start with LC1 or LC2 for syndesmotomy before progressing to wider tips. For Intralift™, follow the TKW sequence (TKW1 → TKW2 → TKW3 → TKW4 → TKW5) — each tip is calibrated to a specific diameter and function. Skipping steps increases membrane risk and reduces the predictability of crestal elevation. 3 Maintain consistent irrigation flow throughout every case.
