AIS 5.4 Included — No Subscription Floor · Ceph Configurations 70 µm Voxel Resolution Clinical Insight What clinicians are saying Real-world feedback from dental professionals using the X-MIND Optima 3D in their practices. "For implant planning, the 70 µm resolution gives me bone density detail I simply didn't have before. We placed a 4.0 mm implant in D2 bone without a pilot-only protocol — the CBCT data gave us that confidence." Implant Planning · D2 Bone Assessment "The nerve tracing AI saved me easily 10 minutes per case. IAN proximity flagged automatically — I just verified and moved to planning. Setup and calibration took under an hour." AI Nerve Tracing · Workflow Efficiency Resources Clinical Documentation Product Brochure Technical Datasheet Indications When to use the X-MIND Optima 3D Designed for the full scope of modern dental imaging — from single-tooth endodontics to complex full-arch surgery. Implant site assessment and treatment planning, including bone volume, density, and nerve proximity evaluation Complex endodontic diagnosis — root canal morphology, calcified canals, periapical pathology not visible on 2D Orthodontic skeletal assessment, impacted teeth, and pre-orthognathic surgery planning TMJ imaging and airway assessment for sleep and occlusal patients Maxillofacial and oral surgery — sinus assessment, pathology localisation, fracture evaluation Surgical guide design and fabrication using AIS Design Module — from CBCT data to 3D-printable guide Configurations Available models Two configurations available. A 5×5 cm FOV for single-tooth endodontics delivers superior resolution and lower dose compared to a full-arch exposure. ALARA principle should guide FOV selection every time. 2 Use AI nerve tracing before measurement, not after. RealGUIDE™ 5.4 auto-segments the IAN canal on import — verify the trace, then place your safety margin. This reduces planning time and minimises manual error in high-risk anatomy zones. 3 Calibrate the patient positioning arm for each configuration. The face-to-face positioning ensures comfort and scan accuracy — confirm chin rest and temporal support contact points before exposure, particularly for paediatric or elderly patients. 4 Use ClearIQ filter for soft-tissue differentiated cases. Combined with up to 90 kV output, ClearIQ enhances contrast between mineralised and soft tissue structures — particularly useful in pathology assessment and sinus work. 5 Export surgical guides directly from AIS Design Module. Compatible with most desktop mills and FDM/SLA 3D printers. Confirm sleeve specifications match your chosen implant system prior to guide fabrication. ⚠ Radiation Safety Notice: The X-MIND Optima 3D is a Class IIb medical device. Exposure must be justified, optimised, and limited in accordance with AS/NZS radiation protection guidelines. Operator training is required prior to clinical use. Refer to the IFU for full safety and contraindication information.
