After being alerted, Superman pursues the ship to the boys’ home planet, where Zigi and Zagi intentionally hide the fugitive in hopes of prolonging Superman’s visit. While visiting, Superman meets Zyra, the boys’ sister, who introduces him to the planet and its advanced technology, including the Gravity Master, a device designed to prevent a distant asteroid from colliding with their world. When the escaped convict accidentally disables the Gravity Master, Superman intervenes and deflects the incoming asteroid, saving the planet. Zyra grows enamored with Superman and eventually proposes marriage during a rare planetary alignment. Seeking a solution, Superman searches for Zyra’s former companion Zarthur, who vanished while exploring the Graveyard Planet. Traveling to the Krob galaxy, Superman locates Zarthur and reunites him with Zyra on Alpha Centauri, ending her engagement to Superman. Superman returns to Earth to discover the escaped convict has already been apprehended and imprisoned. 🔥 Supergirl's Choice of Doom! Zor-El has Supergirl observe a simulated future generated by a Kryptonian super-computer to determine the consequences if he and Allura remain on Earth. The projection shows a monster known as the Zygor taking control of Supergirl’s mind and forcing her into a deadly confrontation involving Zor-El and Superman. Before learning the final outcome, Supergirl destroys the computer. Zor-El explains that the future can be avoided if he and Allura return to Kandor. Supergirl agrees, allowing her parents to exchange places with the Danvers family. As Supergirl resumes life in Midvale, Zor-El and Allura later reflect in Kandor on the long-dead Zygor, whose remains are kept there.
