To make this kit even better, we have had customers cut the bottom of a 29L kegmenter and use it as a reservoir. Mounted upside down on the 4inch Concentric Reducer. This kit includes enough activated carbon to fill the Extension tube twice. But 500g is more than enough to last an avid distiller a lifetime of filtering.We highly recommend mounting your filter kit. KegLand Silicone Seals are 100% food grade safe silicone safe for use in contact with alcohol.- duotight fittings are also 100% food grade safe to use with alcohol.duotights are made with Acetal or POM (polyoxymethylene). Stainless Steel (The gripping teeth) and EPDM seals which have excellent chemical resistance including being compatible with ozone, oils, wide variety of alkaline and acid compounds, water, alcohol, ketone and beverages.
