ACTIVE AUTOWERKE BMW E9X M3 AIR FILTER SPECS AND BENEFITS Green High Performance Air Filters are uniquely designed to take full advantage of cottons capabilities. Unlike multi-layer gauze filters which can fray and release fiber particles into your engine, The Active Autowerke BMW M3 Filter uses two layers of tightly-interwoven cotton fabric. The 3 main benefits to woven cotton are the fact its thinner, holds oil better, and is stronger. Since its thinner, it allows better air flow without sacrificing filtration. The cotton holds the oil more evenly, and the medium is much stronger. Unlike gauze, you cannot wear a hole in woven cotton by rubbing it, and there is no way small bits of cotton can rip off since its interlocked with another piece. Direct OEM like fit with superior quality These filters are coated in steel mesh for extra strength and durability, because of this, Green filters are much more dent resistant. These USA filters offer fully seam welded, powder coated, laser cut steel housing with pre-assembled rubber seals on our intake housings. Keep your Active Autowerke / Green High Performance Air Filter in perfect condition with the specially formulated Recharge Oil (8 oz.) and Cleaner Spray (12 oz.). Both are sold together as a complete Cleaning KIT. The recharge oil is designed to trap the smallest of dirt particles ensuring your engine breathes only the cleanest of air, and does not damage any vehicle sensors and ensure that your Green Filter can trap before they reach your engine. It is recommend that you visually inspect your Active Autowerke Green Air Filter at every oil change. As a general rule, this filter should be cleaned at every 30,000 miles; however, this interval can be greatly influenced by your environment and driving conditions. In dusty areas, you may need to clean the filter more often. About Green Filter Oil Green High Performance Air Filters come pre-treated with a specially formulated dirt-trapping oil. It is proprietary lightweight, synthetic filter oil designed specifically NOT TO damage any vehicle sensors. This oil creates a positive (+) magnetic charge, with the filter's stainless steel mesh. This positive charge attracts the negatively (-) charged dust particles entering the filter, causing them to cling to the steel mesh and allowing the cotton to remain clear for maximum air flow. The filter oil also contains a swelling additive for the cotton filtration media. This causes the cotton fibers to swell, which allows the filtration media to collect the very small dirt particles (down to 5 microns) that could otherwise harm your engine. How to Clean Your Air Filter Our Recharge Oil is designed to not damage any vehicle sensors and ensure that your Green Filter can trap the smallest dirt particles before they reach your engine. u00a0 year-2007,year-2007-make-bmw,year-2007-make-bmw-model-m3,year-2008,year-2008-make-bmw,year-2008-make-bmw-model-m3,year-2009,year-2009-make-bmw,year-2009-make-bmw-model-m3,year-2010,year-2010-make-bmw,year-2010-make-bmw-model-m3,year-2011,year-2011-make-bmw,year-2011-make-bmw-model-m3,year-2012,year-2012-make-bmw,year-2012-make-bmw-model-m3,year-2013,year-2013-make-bmw,year-2013-make-bmw-model-m3
