They will touch and feel different surfaces and be able to tell which one is warmer or cooler. There are 2 analogue thermometers: liquid thermometer and dial thermometer so that they will know there are different ways to read the temperature. The 3 temperature comparison openings on the right allows children to feel and compare different temperatures when they place their fingers on any 2 of the 3 openings: there is always a warmer one and a cooler one.
