What to Expect Most knobs sit around 25mm (1 inch) or higher above the top of the shift lever. This one sits just 3–4mm taller when mounted, so shifts feel shorter and firmer with throws typically 5%–10% shorter than non-countersunk knobs. The built-in boot collar clips securely into the knob for one of the most seamless, well-integrated installations available. How it Works Affix the boot collar to the shift boot using a low-profile cable tie (3 included). Thread the knob down onto the shift lever until it stops, then simply clip the collar into the knob to complete the install. Materials and Finish Each unit features a heavy stainless steel inner core paired with a 6061 aluminum outer shell and shift boot collar in a tasteful, satin anodized finish.
