This service is designed for businesses, non-profits or departments who need a secure communications network in a location or environment where there is no communications infrastructure. Festivals, training exercises, and disaster zones are a few examples of where an ad hoc comms network might be needed. It can also be an excellent way to see our goods employed at a squad level before purchasing, to see what suits your unit's needs best. This service can be combined with our Drone Operator Service, but if a TOC operator is required, a dismounted mobile drone operator will not be possible. Initial charge is a down payment that will reserve your requested units and hours, and be applied against the final network invoice. Rates Net Setup - $100 (flat rate, unless setup is anticipated to exceed an hour) Handheld Units- $3 per unit, per hour TAK Services - $3 per unit, per hour Silynx PTT + Headset- $5 per unit, per hour End User Devices- $5 per unit, per hour Starlink Mobile Internet- $10 per unit, per hour Repeaters- $20 per unit, per hour TOC Operator - $100 per hour Units Handheld units are DMR AES256 encrypted Hytera radios, transmitting on up to 5 FCC Part 90 licensed UHF channels. 4 team channels, and one TOC channel monitoring all 5, are available. We will help you employ this comms plan to best serve your needs. Surveillance kits are available at no extra cost upon request. Silynx PTT + Headset- Includes one PTT, one downlead connector for the handheld unit, and one uplead. If not otherwise specified, uplead will be a surveillance earpiece with disposable earplug. If users have their own headsets, please let us know what connector they use, and we will supply the appropriate uplead in place of the earpiece. Please specify if a splitter downlead is desired for dual connectivity to a second handheld unit or EUD. End User Devices- Includes EUD, case and MOLLE chest mount. Common applications are TAK services and Zello net for ancillary staff/volunteers. Most applications will require the addition of Starlink internet- we will help you determine the best way to achieve your goals. Starlink Mobile Internet- This addon can provide access to important services like a TAK server, IP connected repeaters for multiple sites, and access to the outside world in an area without communications infrastructure. Repeaters- depending on the size, composition and terrain of your activation site, you may want a repeater to ensure reliable communication. There are two possible options- a portable simplex repeater pushing 5W, best employed for highly mobile dismounted operations, and a mobile duplex repeater pushing 25W, better for central placement in a more stable AO. TOC Operator- a TOC operator manages the net, providing callouts, followups, comms checks, active troubleshooting, and limited direction pertaining to clear comms. This allows your team to focus on the task at hand with confidence. Disclaimers Net Setup Net setup is a per diem for setup and breakdown of the net, and is only waived if a TOC operator will be staying in the field with the equipment. No Loans This listing is not for "loan" of the unit per se- Comanche Comms will be on site to set up, activate, and break down any rented kit. Equipment will not leave the agreed activation site without their owner for any reason. Lost/Damaged Units In the event that a unit is lost or damaged on return, we will charge for a new replacement unit on your final invoice. All pricing can be found on our website. We reserve the right to charge partial price for a unit if it is returned in damaged but functional condition, at our discretion.
