Some say the original and the best. There are lots of versions of this fly going back in the history of fly fishing. Its origins are the East Coast of America nearly 100 years ago. In 1922 the fly tier Leonard Halladay invented this general purpose grey Mayfly dun. It was then fished by his friend on the Boardman River by a guy with the surname, you guest it, Adams. l always carry a few. Great to use if the water is choppy or windswept, it rides high and is easy to see. Show more
