Between the thread ends rests a 2mm gap in threading to add a visual indicator to your part to make identifying it when installed in a part. Unlike our other adapters, this part was created for pure utility, this adapter is simple and effective at converting your female threaded VHC lightsaber components into a male threaded component with just a couple twists.
