The combination of the 12 micron sensor with the 50mm lens also raises the base magnification of this particular model to 4X. Unlike smaller lenses with larger microns, this combination allows predator hunters to start at a higher base magnification, which eliminates the inevitable degradation of the resolution that is required for low base magnification units. Other enhancements include an astonishing 15 hours of battery life on two internal 18650 rechargeable batteries, 5 internal reticle options, and shot-activated video recording, which, when enabled, ensure that hunters forgetting to press the record button is a thing of the past!
