Each piece can have a different look, but they all have the roughness that is unique to horsebutt, so please enjoy them as part of the leather's individuality while each pair is essentially a one of a kind. Some parts have a white haze or scaly pattern, which you can see in the image, but please note this is a natural characteristic of the horsebutt leather.Horsebutt originally has more scratches than cowhide, and small scratches will inevitably enter the product.Please note that each hide is a hand dyed process and the leather will develope a look and feel all of its own during wear.Horsebutt has different grain and other leather textures depending on the individual item. However, it will stretch little by little. The CL Last engineer has a slim shape from the shaft to the ankle. If you have high insteps, wide width, or thick calves, we recommend ordering a 1/2 size up from your usual size.Please adjust the thickness of the included insole and socks.
